The residential area of Mirasierra is one of the first residential developments in Madrid. It was firt built towards the end of the 50´s as a vacation spot for the higher classes in Madrid. Decades later it has been integrated into the city and has come to be known as a distinctive neighborhood for its proximity to the center, for its peacefulness and its security.
It is made up mainly of single family homes, semi-detached and detached houses, it is one of the most green areas of the capital, creating a relaxing and peaceful atmoshpere to forget the city noise. It has a shopping center, hospitals such as Ruber International and the Cemtro Clinic, sports clubs, private schools and easy access to transportation. Without a doubt Mirasierra is still one of the most exclusive integrated areas of Madrid.
